Soon to begin our Autumn season Radio Dialect is a Bristol (UK) internet broadcasting co-operative run by volunteers. Our main activity is our weekly current affairs magazine programme Dialect (subscribe to podcast here) which is recorded live at the British Empire and Commonwealth museum Temple Meads then posted for download here every Saturday.
Current production schedule: see the List all shows section which lists all our latest podcasts.
We also provide time and space for people to produce and present their own shows - listen to some here.
We first broadcast a stream live in 2003. In 2004 we ran several shows in the weekday evenings but presently we are back down to our flagship current affairs show, Dialect, with the occasional show from Stanley Forbes. Of course you may also hear the Trinity DJs on our shared stream on occasion, too.
Listen to the show live on Thursday evenings. You'll find the previous shows here
Why not listen to our jingles? And have you ever thought of volunteering to be part of the team?
